We have an exciting job opportunity available at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates for two Laboratory I Tech positions. These roles will be based in Paterson, Washington and will involve working a 40-hour week schedule. As a Laboratory Tech, you will be responsible for optimizing laboratory work towards quality, safety, and efficiency. This includes performing analysis according to approved standard operating procedures, operating and maintaining analytical instrument systems, maintaining quality assurance records, and recording and reporting analytical results. The ideal candidate will have an associate degree or 2 years of college coursework in a science discipline, as well as analytical laboratory experience.

Laboratory Technician I job responsibilities include:

  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain analytical instrument systems with some ability for troubleshooting.
  • Maintain quality assurance records and workstation records.
  • Perform testing, as trained and qualified to do, related to wine manufacturing.
  • Record and report analytical results.
  • Follow health and safety procedures.
  • Support procedures for health, safety, good housekeeping practices and good stewardship in waste management

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree or two years of college coursework in a science discipline (chemistry, biochemistry) or related science field preferred.
  • Analytical laboratory experience with a background in operational laboratory instrument systems is preferred.
  • Ability to maintain and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation.
  • Operational experience in handling chemicals is preferred.
  • We follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in our production facilities. You will be required to follow all GMP and Safety requirements.

Your Compensation: $18.22-23.67/hr. based upon relevant experience.
