Position Title: Stamping Maintenance Technician

Wage: $35.00 - $40.00/hour

Shift: 1st or 2nd

Hours: 5:00am - 3:00pm or 5:00pm - 3:00am

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Stamping Maintenance Technician at a company in Carol Stream, IL. This is a direct hire position for 1st or 2nd shift. Apply now!

Stamping Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform regular checks or tests on manufacturing equipment for proper operation
- Inspect, maintain, diagnose and repair machinery and equipment
- Dissemble machinery and equipment and replace defective parts
- Reassemble machinery and equipment and make final adjustments
- Confer with Tool & Die Maker to fabricate tooling parts and components as required
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, such as grinders, torches, hammers and wrenches
- Test machines after repair to ensure proper operation
- Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment
- Order repair parts as needed
- Record and maintain data of checks, tests, repairs, and daily reports
- Work closely with production personnel on equipment repairs
- Complete and satisfactorily pass forklift operator training provided by the company
